"I used to work at an NGO where I would conduct raids on red light areas to rescue underage girls and bring them to safety, but when I would conduct raids a few months later I would find the same girls back in these brothels. These girls were being resold and that didn't sit right with me. I left that NGO and co-founded Kranti to put a permanent end to this cycle -- girls who we rescue are given a roof over their heads, educated and are made independent enough to start earning their own money. What we've done is, we've made these girls part of one big family -- one that stands up for one another, looks after one another and stays together through all their tough times -- it's a place we all love to call...home."
